Policies
This page contains basic rules and policies which apply to all registered students at Kats Performing Arts Studio. Policies
are subject to change. Kats Performing Arts Studio reserves the right to change and update policies at any time.
Our Policies
We take students from 3 1/2 years old thru adults.
We have a recital in May (date to be announced later). A recital fee does apply to all families.
A Registration fee applies to every family.
Costumes fee will be due in part by Nov. 1st and the balance due by Dec. 19th.
All group class fees are due the first week of the month.
We invite parents/vistors to watch only on specified weeks. The first week of Sept., Nov., Jan., March and May are the weeks.
We have strict dress codes. All classes require appropriate shoes and clothing. No Jeans are allowed in class. Hair must be in a bun or pony-tail.
No gum in the studio at all.
If a student needs to eat between classes they must clean up after themselves,drinks as well.
We do not take snow days with the BNL School System as the weather conditions often change by afternoon and we will call that each day as needed.
Be sure to listen to 105.5 or check the superoldies.com for weather closings.
Attendance it vital to learning and we encourage excellent attendance.
Any dancewear ordered from Kat's must be purchased before ordering.
Kat's will not be responsible for siblings left to wait on sisters or brothers to get out of class
Any student dropping a class after drop out dates will be charged a $25 dropout fee. All classes are organized and scheduled with your child in mind and it damages moral and quality of dances when students just drop out.
